Review: Illamasqua The Sacred Hour Facet Polish

Nail polish, swatches, NOTD

I picked up this beauty in the Selfridges Autumn Beauty Event last month and I'm so glad I did. I hadn't owned any Illamasqua before I purchased this but I'd always heard wonderful things and this polish was a great start for me.

Its colour is so unique and the official product photos I've seen online don't do it justice and appear to be more brown than grey but personally I find it's the opposite. Facet is a mink shade with a fine and subtle rich golden shimmer. It's absolutely perfect for autumn and it's diverse colour makes it easy to pair with many colours.

This nail polish from Illamasqua's Sacred Hour collection only needs 2 coats for good coverage, and the shade gets deeper if you apply a further coat. It glides on easily and does not take long to dry.

You can pick up Illamasqua's Facet polish for £14.50. This will definitely be the start of my Illamasqua collection and I fully intend to try out many of their other nail polishes. Do you have any shades you'd recommend?
