Ever since I came across indie nail polishes on Instagram I've lusted after the jelly matte glitter polishes that are so popular with them. Unfortunately, for a long time I've been unable to find a decent UK supplier and I so despise being hit by customs charges from US parcels! In come Rainbow Connection who stock a whole load of different indie polishes from many US brands. My first purchase was Blibber Blubber by Glam Polish.
This polish looks seriously cute in the bottle! It has a mix of pink, blue, yellow, orange, red and green matte glitters all in different shapes and sizes, my favourites being the large hexagon glitters.
I didn't get the jelly effect that appears on the swatches I've seen and I'm not really sure why. I applied about 4 coats of this product and finished with my glossiest top coat, but I can't say the results were quite the effect I was expecting them to be. Perhaps a fellow indie polish fan has some tips for getting it to look like it does in all the promo photos?!
I think I'd prefer this polish if it had more of the large glitter and much less of the tiny glitter, but I suppose as it's indie you are always going to get slight variations in each product.
