I received this Laura Mercier Foundation Primer in my October BirchBox and was very excited to try it as I always love testing out primers and I'd heard good things about Laura Mercier's.
The packaging is very sleek and chic and its thin tube design fits nicely in to any make up bag.
The texture of the primer itself is different to what I've come to expect from primers. It's a thin liquid that dries as you rub it in. I can't say I'm keen on it, it doesn't feel like it's giving me a smooth base for my foundation at all. I find it quite drying and would perhaps only recommend this for those with oily skin. I feel like my make up also doesn't stay put as well with this. All in all, a disappointment.
Have you tried this primer? What did you think?

Ah! I wish I could have enjoyed it, but I just like my primers to be rich and creamy!
DeleteI got one in my Birchbox too but I think mine was the Radiance primer (I think that was the name) but it is wonderful and all I need with it is some concealer and blush and I am good to go :) If I had £28.50 to spend on a primer I would buy the full size :) x
