Review: Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil

Bumble and Bumble, Bumble & Bumble, Hairdresser's Invisible Oil, hair care, heat protector

A very helpful member of the Bumble & Bumble staff at Selfridges selected this Hairdresser's Invisible Oil for me after a discussion about my hair type and what my concerns are. She picked this oil because it's supposed to add moisture to the hair whilst protecting it from heat styling, perfect for my dyed, straightened hair!

What Bumble & Bumble say: "This transformative blend of nourishing oils vanishes into hair, leaving a smooth feathersoft feel and a trace of shine. Flyaways disappear, too."

I apply this oil to the ends of my hair first thing in the morning, which is roughly 10 minutes before I straighten my hair, to allow it to soak in a little.

It's a very silky clear liquid (don't worry the neon orange is just the bottle!). It has a lovely fruity scent to it. You only need a minute amount of this product to cover the ends of your hair, which equates to approximately one pump of the dispenser. I wouldn't suggest much more than this or to apply it to your roots as I think your hair could look quite greasy then.

You can also apply this product to damp, freshly washed hair before blow drying, or even after styling to keep flyaways at bay and add some shine.

Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil is available for £31 so it is on the pricier side, but as you only need to use a tiny amount you'll get absolutely loads of uses from this 100ml bottle. I've been using it for a few weeks now and as you can see it's barely made a dent! If you're still unsure, the great thing is you can try a little of this on dry hair in any store with Bumble & Bumble testers.

This product has made me a Bumble & Bumble convert & I can't wait to try out some of their other products! Are there any you would recommend?
