Review: KMS California Moist Repair Shampoo & Revival Creme

Hair repair, MoistRepair

Another hair product to (hopefully) help me on the way to better hair. What drew me to buying this duo is the awards the Revival Creme had won, recently picking up the best leave-in hair conditioner at the 2013 Hair Awards.

It took me a few uses to get used to this one, I think I initially applied too much of the leave-in conditioner after towel drying my hair, but you only need a small amount in your mid lengths to the ends. Once you've worked it in, it becomes tangle free fairly easily so don't feel you need loads of this just to be able to brush your hair!

The shampoo lathers very well and again you only need a small amount. My hair feels very clean after shampooing but in need of the moisture that the leave-in conditioner provides.

One thing that caught me out the first time is the lid of the leave-in conditioner. I tried twisting it off, eventually pulling off the entire lid before I realised you actually just twist it lightly and then squeeze and the conditioner comes out through a hole in the lid. Oops!

The products are a pretty decent size and were bigger than I was expecting, always a plus!

My hair feels fuller after I've left it to dry and seems to stay straight for longer (random!). It's left shiny and relatively silky. The KMS Moist Repair shampoo costs just £9.02 and the leave-in conditioner is £11, both great prices from Beauty Bay and saving quite a few pounds compared to many other sites. I think I probably would buy them again, but more for use as a quick fix rather than as a deep condition or repair treatment.
